A portal,
a doorway,
a gate,
an entrance or
an exit?
Your self, reflected back.

What is a monotype?
A monotype (mono meaning one) is a unique print made by painting with oils onto a flat sheet of glass or plastic and running this painted image through a press where it is transferred onto paper. Each plate yields one monotype, so while this is a printing technique, there are no editions (one of one). Sometimes a second pull can be made from the residual paint, resulting in a ghost print (due to its faintness).
